I’m a newly qualified freelance BHAA Club Coach based in East Hampshire also covering neighboring Surrey & West Sussex. Eager to introduce this exciting equestrian sport to more riders and non-riders alike. It doesn’t matter if you haven’t ever ridden or even if you’ve never done archery before, I can instruct you in both at a pace suitable for you.
Having ridden and owned horses and practiced ground archery for several decades, time has come for me to share my love of both sports and enjoyment of the partnership that can be made between rider and horse.
Horseback archery is one of the few fully inclusive sports available to all ages and abilities, with both mounted and ground qualifications and competitions.
I offer beginner or novice, private, or semi private sessions initially on the ground, progressing to mounted (so don’t worry if you haven’t your own horse). I have equipment to borrow so all I need is you and a suitable venue.
If you’re already doing horseback archery I can also help you with your postal competitions.
For riders that would like to try I can help you train your own horse if they prove suitable using natural horsemanship methods.
Fully insured and up to date with DBS, Safeguarding and First Aid, I also hold a qualification in horse psychology.
