I’m a BHAA qualified Intermediate Coach based in Edinburgh and I offer individual, pair and small group coaching at Oxenfoord Livery Yard during clinics or at your central Scotland premises, once they have been checked to be safe for archery.  I can help you introduce your horse to mounted archery, step by step, so that your horse is comfortable and confident before moving on to each new step.  I can coach you in mounted archery technique on the ground or on horseback, for standard or more unusual shots, such as back shots, forward shots, offside shots, Jarmaki. 

I’ve been coaching for six years now and have started many combinations who now enjoy great fun at club training sessions, private practice sessions and camps.

We can go at your speed, everything will be explained and the emphasis is on safe fun, correct technique and a rewarding, enjoyable experience.  Equipment available to borrow if required.
