I was wondering what other people do to protect their hand when they draw their bow. I tried a thumb ring out in Quicks but I assume it was too large (though it was the smallest size they stock) because I shot it down the range nearly as far as the arrow! For now I've settled on zinc oxide tape over the joint in my thumb with a single layer of, and I know this sounds ridiculous, the expanded polystyrene wrap that you sometimes get in parcels underneath the tape. The wrap is only 1mm thick but it really makes it more comfortable to draw my bow. Maybe I'm just a wuss
